Today's Thought (Kevin Doheny's Sound Mind & Body)
Sound Mind Body Center of Eagan, Minnesota
Healing Center
| Tucked away on a heavily wooded acreage overlooking Blackhawk Lake, the contemporary beauty of Sound Mind & Body Healing Center is the ideal place for a weekend retreat. Although retreats are always customized to the group (of no more than 8 people) who attend, some popular retreat themes are: spiritual development, healing and mind-body therapies. |
With outdoor pool and hot tub facilities available during the summer, a weekend retreat conducted by Kevin and his select group of specialists will change your outlook on life!
| Sound Mind & Body Healing Center not only teaches classes and holds small group discussions but is also available to others for lectures and seminars. With it's unparalleled warmth and energy, the healing center is the ideal place for your next meeting or event. The large meeting room can accommodate groups of up to 30, while the Great Room is ideal for smaller groups. |
In contrast to group activities, the Sound Mind & Body Healing Center specializes in individual healing sessions by appointment.
Hi Kevin, I want to thank you for the use of your lovely space. I received many positive comments about the program as well as your space. Thanks,

Interview of a visionary Kevin Doheny! Download MP3Here are some questions I may ask Kevin:
1. To begin with let's start out by describing the Minnesota property described as being tucked away on heavily wooded acreage overlooking Blackhawk Lake. Did you build on that property especially for the sound clinic or was the house already there?
2. Let's start talking about sound and/or music as an influence in your life. When did you take an interest in sound and/or music and how do your original experience music and sound becomes what you offer others today?
3. What have you discovered personally about sound that you feel is important to share with others through your Sound Mind Body Center, CD's, and other programs?
4. What kinds of objectives can your modality help clients accomplish?
5.. Must a client come to the center to receive sound as therapy as you made it specifically for them ahead of time or can clients receive the same benefit through purchasing CD's you have already produced to accomplish similar objectives?
6. What kind of equipment do you use to generate sound and how do decide what kinds of sounds get used as therapy for each client?
7. Do clients receive an immediate benefit and then more improvement as they listen again periodically?
8. What other healing modalities does your whole center offer?
9. Do you give workshops or presentations and if so, how do people attend them?
10. Do you have clients in other states or countries or do you only serve people in your locale or those who travel to your center specifically?
11. How can people get in touch with you to have you come to their town and get a demonstration, workshop, or inspirational interaction of other sorts?
12. Are you currently accepting new clients (in your locale and abroad)?
13. How does using sound to help others fit in with your spirituality, if applicable?
14. What would you offer as advice to those who want to benefit the world in a positive way, some wisdom or information that was useful in encouraging that you do the same?
