Maureen Caudill Intuitive, Author, Researcher, Patent Owner

 Maureen Caudill was a University Scholar and received her bachelor's degree in physics (with a mathematics minor) "with highest honors" (summa cum laude) from University of Connecticut, following that with a master's degree from Cornell University.  She spent more than twenty years as a computer scientist, with fifteen of those as a researcher in artificial intelligence and neural networks.

She was a program manager and researcher for a major government contractor on advanced projects such as DARPA ("High Performance Knowledge Base" program) and ARDA ("Advanced Question Answering for Intelligence" program) that strove to develop computer systems that can demonstrate human expertise in complex question understanding and intricate knowledge of detailed real-world scenarios.

Her publication credits are extensive, including nonfiction books:

  • Naturally Intelligent Systems, MIT Press;
  • In Our Own Image, Oxford University Press;
  • Understanding Neural Networks, a 2-volume college-level text with software from MIT Press
  • Suddenly Psychic, Hampton Roads Publishing (forthcoming)

She has written a number of nonfiction articles, including two extended series of articles for AI Expert magazine:

  • "Neural Network Primer" and
  • "Using Neural Networks"
Both of these series were collected and reprinted several times as separate magazines by Miller-Freeman. She has published miscellaneous other articles in publications such as Computer Language and Byte, and several scientific papers.

Maureen has a live radio podcast on 7th Wave Network, Music of Your Mind, so you must tune in sometime, but for now stay tuned for an intellectual, fun chat with an innovative, emotionally intelligent intuitive.

Here are some questions I may ask Maureen:

1. Maureen, when I look through your site I see a cadence of ironies intermingled with a very well laid plan for an interesting life and career. Before we discuss your career and intuitive unfolding. I'd like to ask about your academic choices.

a. You have a bachelor's degree in physics with a mathematic minor from the University of Connecticut, graduating with highest honors. Why did you couple physics with mathematics and what kind of career were you planning at that time?

b. Later on you achieved a master's degree from Cornell University. Did you need a master's degree to go further professionally?

2. You also spent over twenty as a computer scientist. What aspect of physics and mathematics did you specifically apply in computer science? How do you actually do computer research from a scientific standpoint? Were logo rhythms involved?

3. Do I understand correctly that you also managed teams to develop larger programs, over seeing entire projects and planning ahead of time how it all comes together?

4. Share with us some simple tips in understanding how programs give computers artificial intelligence? I imagine that artificial intelligence should mirror human nature in some way. How did you accomplish that? Were you programming scenarios or paradigms?

5. What makes artificial intelligence a challenge from a programming standpoint?

6. An interesting parallel is your nonfiction articles, including two extended series of articles for AI Expert magazine:

  • "Neural Network Primer" and
  • "Using Neural Networks"

In this instance do you mean neurons as in nerve cells?

7. Am I correctly interpreting from your site that you also wrote programs, which rank documents and index them accordingly so they can be retrieved using the same system? What does index ranking and clustering mean? You own the patents for this work. Being that you got to keep the patents as your own and not share the rights with your firm what kind of work arrangement did you have?

8. The word ontology is used in your site to describe some programs you wrote, and ontology means: Ontology is a study of conceptions of reality and the nature of being. What did that project entail and what was the outcome?

9. Now, lets begin talking about your intuitive awakening, so to speak, which you go in great detail in your book. Suddenly Psychic. How did your paranormal experiences begin? How did your family and friends adjust to your new experiences and abilities?

10. Did you at some point begin considering these experiences as a kind of spiritual awakening? How?

11. Did your awakened awareness affect the way you viewed your work and other accomplishments, and if so, how? Do you in retrospect feel your intuition was working all along, helping you solve problems and create novel applications?

12. Would you consider intuition and teaching intuition a kind of technology?

13. Since beginning the experiences described in Suddenly Psychic, Maureen, you have become accredited by The Monroe Institute as a nonresidential Outreach trainer. How exactly did you cross paths with this institution and what role did it play in your development? What is an Outreach trainer? Does the institute endorse any aspect of spirituality? Is research ongoing there? Do you feel you are making an impact on making the paranormal feel more normal? How? Do your corporate colleagues respect your ability and still encourage professional interaction?

14. Does spirituality fit in with these tools? How have you defined your higher purpose or your planetary roles, now that you have brought all these experiences together?

15. Tell more about your workshop and psycho kinesis. What kinds of powerful reality shifts and transformations do your students achieve when mastering their psychic abilities?

16. You also have a successful radio show on 7th wave. What is the show's theme and how do you use this medium to enhance what you want to accomplish? What kinds of circuit lecturing do you do?

17. How do we connect to participate in your workshops and presentations? What can people come to expect before hand?

18. Why do you think all of this happened to you?

19. Can you please share with the audience insightful advice encouraging them to discover their higher purpose and then manifest it?
