Roger Frampton of Ontario, Canada & The 2012 Chronicles

About Roger Frampton:
While working toward his degree from the University of Victoria, Roger was Public Program Co-ordinator for the Dominion Astrophysical Observatory.

After graduating, he began what turned out to be a long relationship in Public Programming with the Royal British Columbia Museum producing and hosting the highly successful week-long public presentations Explorers of the Universe and Voyage to Neptune.  Roger's first real venture into live television came shortly thereafter:  the Canadian Coastal Safari project in 1990 where the technological capabilities of the day were maximized to provide students across the country with live images of the underwater world of the North Pacific. 

Roger's productions have won widespread recognition and awards for excellence in broadcasting, including the Eve Savory Award for Science Communications in 1990 (from the Science Council of British Columbia), and the Omer Girard Award (CCTA) for Innovation in Television for 1992.

In 1993, Roger received the Canada 125 Medal from the Canadian government for his contribution to Science Programming for children.

Roger has an Economics Diploma from London School of Economics, England, and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Victoria with a major in Child and Youth Care.  Roger holds a passion for science and technology. Trained as a counsellor he is certified by the Ontario Association of Child & Youth Counsellors and  is the a father of two beautiful daughters.

Roger Frampton shares:

"There are no unconnected events in our universe. For some reason, you are here at this time and, of course, right on schedule. This being said, there must be something here that can help you on your way to becoming the best "you" that you can be!  Because, becoming more of who you are is really what it's all about. Each one of us begins anew every day that we're on this planet.  That means learning to flow downstream in every action that we take and every decision we make. "However, keeping ourselves anchored and fully immersed in the 3 dimensional world can be challenging, especially when we experience events that cause us to realize that there is so much more to this reality than that which we can see, hear, smell and feel with our physical senses.   Staying grounded, while at the same time, allowing ourselves to grow and develop, is often easier said than done!

"Sometimes it helps just to state the obvious...out loud.   And that includes making statements such as:  "I'm really confused and, at this moment, I don't know what to do and I need some help."  Believe me, I have been in the oddest situations over the past few years to the point that very little surprises me anymore. Nor should it you.  But every time I've asked the universe for help... it has arrived.  It may not have been in the form I expected... but it arrived nonetheless."
