Cynthia Drasler: Organic Excellence-Chemical free products

How Cynthia and her company, Organic Excellence Chemical Free Products, started - begins as the story of a mother trying to help her child and ends with a successful pharmaceutical sales rep chucking it all to start a company based on her daughter's needs.

With the products she conceived and developed now featured in Time Magazine, Woman's World Magazine, Investor's Business Daily, and on Shirley MacLaine's website, entrepreneur Cynthia Drasler isn't sure if that means she's "made it" or not. But, it's a great conversation starter!!

But, the real turning point was when Cynthia's two-year old daughter had a severe reaction to a clown's face painting. Thus began an education as Cynthia noted and researched chemical ingredients in products used routinely in our homes.

She has appeared on numerous Phoenix TV shows including Sonoran Living, Good Morning Arizona, Arizona Midday Show, and The Early Morning Show. She is fast becoming a local expert on chemicals in personal care products and is increasingly sought after as a speaker. Hers is a classic entrepreneur's tale with many ups and downs.

Her path from Arizona to Shirley MacLaine's LA based website is full of hard work and initiative but, it proves that when you want and need to do something, anything can be accomplished.

Cynthia shares:
"My conversion from a strong believer in conventional medicine to a manufacturer of natural chemical-free products was a slow process," notes Cynthia Drasler, CEO and founder of Organic Excellence Chemical Free Products.

"The first step was hearing my clients, the medical oncologists to whom I sold chemotherapy drugs as a pharmaceutical sales rep for Bristol Myers Squibb tell me that more and more cancers are environmentally caused - that surprised me because of all the effort we have made as a country to clean up the environment."
