Which Perspective Do You Prefer: Collective or Individual?

Posted on Feb 1st, 2009 by Bryan : Metatelepath, Medical Intuitive, Me Bryan

Even well-seasoned intuitives like us and among us should occasionally assess, which impressions truly qualify as intuition or inspiration from the higher realms, so that some ideas don't get couched as unstructured, mental wandering.

By general consensus we use the REM state to let our subconscious mind run free  creating a mesh of impressionistic life-themes we call the dream world, where there is astral learning on many levels outside real time.  For example, how many of you like me, occasionally dream out a full story-line in reverse from end to beginning?

While awake, our filters help us process the earth experience moment-by-moment putting special emphasis on the time it takes us to create a reality  where we are one.

When it comes to recognizing intuitive impressions, especially when unwilled, daydreaming is the mental process in direct competition with the intuitive mind, when considering the source or origin of a lingering  non-thought form.

Some of us are aware of that perpetual conversation going on within the forum of our inner blog; and if one decides,  then all new impressions get "posted"  to that conversation  bearing intuitive significance.

One day, when visiting a friend, it occurred to me, that it was all my choice. I also decided that day to let my consciousness  merge with the collective 'on a regular basis.'  This choice for 'manner of being and acting' is not at all like that depicted in Star Trek episodes about certain alien races, who use collective consciousness as a kind of mental prison for criminals who are deprived the right to be individuals, a form of capitol punishment.

I still remember the day when I decided to be 'more collective' than individualistic, which was when my so-called spiritual friend asked, "Don't you ever cut that off?"

I believe she meant, that most of the time, I wasn't being human enough, and that our normal conversations lacked in substance when discussing mundane matters.

I considered what she implied, and then decided that I liked viewing life this way.

Besides, I get more practice along with a better grasp on how mental filters place degrees of separation between the way my intuitive and conscious mind interpret, if there really is separation.  Some agree that any and all earth experiences have one basic, universal interpretation, and that our personal fear factor lets us interpret experiences in part to satisfy or placate our insecurities and sense of uncertainty. In any event, is there a perspective other than the universal, collective kind, that to which one should aspire?

What do you think?
