Bryan Interviews Alika Medeiros Practitioner of Kilo Lani Yoga

When he was younger, Alika acted out and got into all the sorts of trouble a young man can.  His actions were spurred by a resentment toward his father and all of the other hardships he had faced as a youngster.  As a young adult, Alika was in a horrible surfing accident that shattered his ankle and left him unable to walk.  Faced with the prospect of never being able to walk again, he fell into a deep depression.  His grandmother began practicing the ancient Hawaiian Lomi (massage) on him while teaching to him the ancient Hawaiian ways.  Within months, Alika had completely healed.

It was during one of these sessions with his grandmother that Alika fell into a trance-like state and experienced a moment of total clarity.  He knew at this moment that by creating what he calls an "Aloha Life" he could help others to release their "Kahuna" within.
